SawStop technology in a compact design – portable, reliable, precise
The unique SawStop AIM safety system – stopping the blade within just 5 milliseconds of skin contact – now in a compact format. This advanced machine features dual status lights (red and green) that indicate operating modes and error messages. In bypass mode, materials can be checked for conductivity, allowing the safety system to be temporarily deactivated – ideal when cutting aluminium or wet wood.
The sturdy rip fence, with hi-low rack and pinion adjustment front and back and a millimetre scale, ensures precise parallel alignment using a rotary knob that locks or unlocks the fence with a simple push or pull. The fence – with an integrated holder for the push stick – can be fitted or removed in seconds and stowed conveniently beneath the table when not in use. Thanks to the Hi-Low function (an additional fold-down aluminium fence), the fence height can be switched between 80 mm and 11 mm. Maximum rip capacity with fence: 625 mm.
Intuitive cutting height adjustment and blade tilt (0° to 45°) via the »Squeeze to Tilt« handwheel. Both settings can be operated quickly and easily with just one hand by turning and pressing the same control. The exclusive micro-adjust function on the handwheel also allows for precise blade angle settings.
The transparent blade guard provides an optimal view of the blade and the cutting line. The side elements adjust automatically to the height of the workpiece, improving dust collection efficiency. Efficient dust extraction is provided via a Ø 58/65 mm extraction port (a reducer to 36/39 mm is included).
A strong tubular frame, a powder-coated aluminium table, and a robust 1800 W universal motor ensure a durable and stable cutting experience. A ⅜ x ¾ inch T-slot to the left, and another to the right of the blade, offer versatile options for mitre gauges and accessories.
This compact saw features a large carrying handle. Rubber feet and a levelling foot provide a stable footing at all times – on site or in the workshop.

The Active Injury Mitigation (AIM) system by SawStop
This revolutionary safety technology was developed by SawStop to stop the circular saw blade the moment it comes into contact with skin.
The saw blade is supplied with a low electrical current. This voltage is continuously monitored on the opposite side of the blade. If the blade comes into contact with skin, the electrical signal changes because the human body is conductive. Once a threshold value is undercut, the system triggers within just 25 microseconds. At that moment, a fuse wire melts, releasing a preloaded spring mechanism that propels an aluminium brake block into the spinning blade with high force. The brake stops the blade in approximately 5 milliseconds. Due to the sudden deceleration, the blade is simultaneously retracted below the table surface and pulled away from the point of contact – typically a finger.
Although minor skin injuries such as abrasions may occur, the system effectively reduces the risk of serious cuts.
After activation, the brake cartridge and saw blade must be replaced. However, the replacement process is user-friendly and can be completed within a few minutes.
