The BRIGHTEX process gives untreated metal a shadow-free mirror finish. We offer you a polishing set suitable for M14 angle grinder holders (diameter 115 mm) to go from a blank in its raw state to a highly polished knife blade. Only two, maximum three work steps are required for a perfect result.
Sets contains:
Polishing disc / Velcro disc / Polishing wheels pre-soaked with Polishing pastes / Polishing cloth made of cotton with polishing powder.
Tips for using polishing wheels for angle grinders
- Select the correct speed: The speed of the angle grinder should be adapted to the polishing disc and the material to be processed. Speeds that are too high can damage the disc or overheat the material.
- Use a suitable polishing agent: For many uses, the use of the polishing agent (e.g. Polishing pastes or cream) is essential to achieve optimum results and extend the life of the Polishing disc.
- Apply light pressure: Too much pressure can damage the Polishing disc and affect the quality of the polishing. Even, light pressure usually leads to better results.
- Clean the disc regularly: Material can build up when using polishing wheels. It is advisable to clean the disc regularly or change the Polishing disc to achieve optimum results.
- Wear protective equipment: Suitable safety goggles and protective masks should always be worn when using angle grinders with polishing discs.
