»Vice Rack Stop« Clamping Aid for Front Vice
Protects the workpiece and vice from damage
This practical clamping aid prevents front vices from jamming when clamping e.g. battens on one side. It keeps the jaws parallel when clamping and thus avoids the risk of damaging the workpiece or jaws. Simply take as many of the 2.5 mm thick plastic plates until the resulting stack is approximately the thickness of the workpiece. A maximum material thickness of 75 mm can be compensated for with the clamping aid. If this is not sufficient, leftover pieces of wood can of course be used here as a supplement.
