»Jagdnicker« Knife Making Kit
With this knife kit, you can create your own »Jagdnicker« hunting knife that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and unique. The blade is largely finished. The knife handle consists of an end cap that serves as a bolster and a section of genuine reindeer antler. Epoxy adhesive, e.g. No. 450379, is recommended for glueing the handle materials.
Leather sheath
A sufficiently large piece of strong cowhide (120 x 250 mm) is included for making a customised leather sheath. The waxed linen thread by Fil Au Chinois creates an additional contrast to the dark brown leather and provides an appealing colour accent.
Traditional Damascus Blades and Blanks
These beautifully crafted blades made of 192-layered Damascus steel come from the Indus Valley. For excellent performance, low-alloy carbon steel 1095 and nickel steel 15N20 are fire-welded. The blades are etched and hardened to 60 HRC but not completely sharpened. You just add the handle scales and sharpen the blade. Handmade, so there may be slight dimensional deviations. Not rustproof.
