Designed by Miles and Anna Wirtel, this knife stands out for its design and attention to detail. The handle inlays made of mammoth molar make each knife unique and represent the art of knife making at the highest level.
The handle scales made of mammoth molar are precision-fitted into the titanium body***. The molars of the mammoth are arguably among the most exquisite and awe-inspiring handle materials available. Remains are primarily found today in the northern permafrost region of Siberia and Alaska. The beautiful colour of the material is a result of the interstratification of various minerals from the soil of the discovery site. A delicate mother-of-pearl button has been incorporated into the elegant button-lock blade mechanism. The blade is crafted from DSX93 Damasteel, a rustproof Damascus steel manufactured in Sweden. It is produced through powder metallurgy by sintering and forging two types of steel: RWL34* for the »bright« patterns and PMC27** for the »dark« ones. The combination of these two special types of steel creates not only an impressive pattern, but also the best material properties. Hardness 60 HRC.

It possesses a similar tensile strength to steel, but is around a third lighter.
