The tapered axe eye and the handle that thickens towards the head ensure a safe joint that can be separated if necessary. This allows the blade to be dismantled for easy transport and storage. For neat stowing we recommend leather sheath No. 715172. Another advantage: worn or damaged handles can be replaced quickly and easily after enduring splitting work.
