These universal base plates are needed when using other sharpening stones on the Nano Hone sharpening stone holder No. 711219. The sharpening stone is glued onto the plate using a special adhesive tape for sharpening stones (No. 711244 or No. 711245). These plates are available in different colours to make it easier to distinguish between the different grits. Comes with adhesive tape for artificial sharpening stones (No. 711244).
