Mühle »Rytmo« Safety Razor, Steamed Ash

The traditional 3-piece razor-plane with exchangeable blade is counted by many people as the first mechanical »shaving machine« for self-shaving. This model has a closed comb, adapts smoothly to the contours of the face and is therefore easy to use, even for inexperienced shavers. The steamed ash handle contrasts particularly well with the elegant chrome frame. The ash wood is heated to a very high temperature for a short time. This process achieves a high resistance to water, accentuates the grain and imparts a brown hue to the wood. To maintain the natural appearance of the surface, it is only treated with oil. This ensures the wood is impeccably protected against water, making it exceptionally durable. Chrome is corrosion-resistant, particularly durable and has a sumptuous, seductive sheen.
