Due to their high hardness (approx. 64 HRC) and toughness, these plane blades are resistant to careless handling, which often occurs during everyday workshop tasks or on-site assembling. This steel also retains its hardness during machine dry grinding.Ideal for:
- Exotic hardwoods, which frequently contain mineral particles
- Edged-glued wood and particle boards with hard synthetic resin components
Fits DICTUM smoothing planes No. 4 (No. 703331, 703341, 703359) and jack plane No. 5 (No. 703332, 703342, 703360).
