Knife Block, Beech

Fine knives should not be stored in a cutlery drawer or on a magnetic bar, as magnetisation complicates the sharpening process. We instead recommend this knife block, specially designed for Japanese hocho, which we have manufactured in Germany according to our quality standards. It holds seven knives with blades up to 270 mm in length and 5-9 mm in thickness, as well as a pair of scissors. Its substantial weight ensures stability, and the slanted arrangement allows for quick access. The surface is finely sanded and treated with vegetable oil. Naturally, the knife block is also suitable for European chef’s knives.
