The company Alexandre Mareuil was founded by the passionate hunter André Colombeix in Bordeaux in 1972. A village in the Dordogne, Mareuil-sur-Belle, through which André Colombeix passed on his way back from one of his hunting trips, inspired the hunter to give it this name.Completely self-taught, he began making high-class hunting equipment in the finest leather.
