This exclusive knife series comes from the Echizen Japan Knife Consortium, an association of knife forges with decades of tradition. Under the lead of renowned designer Chiaki Murata, traditional forging techniques and premium materials are combined perfectly. The core cutting edge layer is made of VG-10, premium-quality rustproof steel with an excellent edge life. A total of 66 folded outer layers of rustproof stainless steel create an ornate look. Each knife is made by hand and thus unique in its Damascus structure. The round elegant walnut handle is set in a stainless steel ferrule and hoop. The perfectly balanced knives provide an excellent grip and prevent hands from tiring. They come in a beautiful kiri casket. Rustproof, double-bevel, hardness 62 HRC.
