Practical, western style kitchen knives combined with Japanese blade quality. The blade features three layers, each of them differ optically and thus create an attractive appearance. Tough, rustproof steel surrounds the cutting edge made of hard Blue Paper Steel. The black linen micarta scales are triple-riveted to the tang and are rounded off with a stainless steel ferrule. Micarta is produced using a special high pressure procedure which combines linen material with epoxy resin. The resulting material is almost indestructible, easy to maintain and resistant against water, acids and oils. It provides a comfortable, non-slip grip and is thus also ideal for professional chefs. Blade with signature, not rustproof. Hardness 62 HRC, double-bevelled.
