Description
The non-slip handle of this workshop knife is made of particularly durable bio-based High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The raw materials used for the production of bio-based plastics are mainly sugar, starch and cellulose, which come from plants such as maize, sugar cane, sugar beet or wood. They resemble conventional plastics in their chemical and molecular structure and can be handled exactly like them in terms of use and disposal. The unique design also saves material in the handle, reducing the overall environmental footprint. The hole in the handle allows the knife to be secured by a strap (not included) when working at height. The blade is made of carbon steel (not rustproof), sharpened in several steps and then finished on leather. Comes in a plastic sheath with clip for fastening to a belt. Hardness 58-60 HRC.
