A versatile, light-bodied oil pressed from the seeds of the camellia tree.
Corrosion protection: Acid-free, non-hardening, and non-volatile, camellia oil is an ideal rust inhibitor for tools, knife blades, and edged weapons. Entirely plant-based and food-safe, it is particularly well suited to preserving carbon steel kitchen knives.
Wood protection: The low-viscosity oil penetrates wood quickly, protecting against moisture, dirt, and UV exposure. Clear and non-staining, it enhances the natural grain without forming a surface film. It does not cure or harden.
Personal care: Camellia oil forms the base of many balms, creams, and soaps. In Japan, it has been valued as a hair and massage oil for generations — an indispensable part of traditional geisha beauty rituals.
