Veritas Mortise Chisel, PM-V11 Blade, Blade Width ⅛ Inch
Excellent-quality solid mortise chisels for chiselling out mortises. Each blade has a primary bevel angel of 25° and a secondary bevel angel of 35° for use on hardwood and knotty softwood. At the top of the bevel there is a slight curve so you won’t leave any dents when levering the blade. PM-V11 steel (61-63 HRC) allows for a razor-sharp edge and is highly durable.⅛ / ¼ / 5/16 / ⅜ / ½ inch are equivalent to 3.2 / 6.4 / 7.9 / 9.5 / 12.7 mm.

PM-V11 steel is made from a new, powder metallurgy steel alloy. With its ultra-fine and homogeneous material structure and extreme hardness (HRC 61-63), this steel has double the edge-retention capacity of A2 steel.
