Estwing

Estwing^® was founded in 1923 in Rockford, Illinois and has been a family-run business ever since. Estwing^® has been manufacturing various impact tools since the company was founded, such as roofing hammers for carpenters, rock picks for archaeologists, locksmiths' hammers for industry and claw hammers. The range also includes special hammers for precision goldsmithing work and instrument makers, as well as tough sledgehammers for demolition work. For some years now, Estwing^® has also been producing high-quality axes and hatchets.

The head, neck and leather handle of this hammer are joined seamlessly to make a practically indestructible striking tool. The full-length tangs and heads are forged from one piece. The heads are differentially hardened and, together with the neck, fully polished. The handle is made of disk-stacked varnished leather and riveted at the end.
