Based on the drawings by Andre Roube (18th century), the saw frame allows you to quickly and easily rip-cut any kind of solid wood, thanks to its robust construction. The set consists of a blued saw blade, which is protected against rust and made of 1095 spring steel, as well as an extremely robust, precisely made hardware kit. It also includes a saw blade with two clamping bolts to make a kerfing plane. This was used to notch larger planks or beams all around before rip-cutting, to provide a guiding groove when sawing. The wooden components are not included in the set; you can make them yourself as needed.
