Thanks to their thoughtful design and premium materials, the boots offer exceptional comfort. The upper is made from oiled cowhide, combined with soft wool felt that insulates effectively while remaining breathable. Lambskin lining in the foot section provides a pleasant warmth and regulates moisture – the ideal combination for hunting, where long periods of standing in the cold are common. The slightly raised instep makes the boots easy to slip on, while the narrow heel ensures a secure fit without unwanted movement inside the boot. The double-stitched construction ensures outstanding durability and makes the boots suitable for years of use in the field.
Materials & craftsmanship
The upper in oiled cowhide and the 72 % wool content of the felt provide not only excellent thermal performance but also exceptional strength and long-lasting wear. Thanks to a special hydrophobic treatment, the leather is particularly tough, resilient and easy to care for. Compared to standard leather, it offers improved performance: it repels water, dries faster and contributes to better heat regulation. A special tanning process enhances water-resistance, ensuring superior protection against moisture.

Named after the prominent mountain ridge in the Allgäu Alps, the »Grünten« takes its inspiration from the functional workwear of Allgäu’s hunters and farmers, who have always relied on robust, dependable gear.
