The Women’s Mackinaw Wool Cruiser is the lined version of Filson's legendary Cruiser jacket, renowned for over 100 years for its reliable protection against cold and wet conditions. Originally developed in 1914 for foresters who scouted the terrain ahead of logging crews, this jacket has become a classic still appreciated today.
Crafted of trusted 24 oz. Mackinaw wool, woven to Filson’s high standards, the jacket offers exceptional breathability and temperature regulation. The wool keeps you comfortably warm without causing perspiration and retains its insulating properties even when wet. Thanks to the dense weave, the jacket is particularly windproof and extremely durable. It's also low-maintenance - dry dirt can be easily brushed off, making it ideal for use in demanding environments.
The front is equipped with four cargo pockets providing ample storage, while the side handwarmer pockets are discreetly hidden. A multi-layered utility pocket on the chest and an open inner pocket provide additional storage space for smaller items. The pockets are designed to be flat to avoid snagging on gear or in dense brush.
The double-layered back offers not only a full-width pocket, which is ideal for gloves, hats, or a dog leash, but also provides extra warmth in the back area where it is most needed, thanks to the additional wool layer.
The cotton lining and polyester twill sleeves ensure maximum comfort and make the jacket easy to put on and take off. Durable metal snap buttons secure the front closure, adjustable cuffs, and pocket flaps, guaranteeing long-lasting, reliable functionality.
