Description
Universal – powerful – compact
Universal: Designed for precise drilling in flat and round material and for axial drilling. The lateral clamping jaws grip spheres, rectangular and round material precisely and securely thanks to their deeply milled grooves. In the centre of the housing there are two receptacles for the exchangeable drill sleeves, optionally with different metric or imperial drill diameters. Can be combined with the Bridge City DJ-3-J Jaw Kit (No. 721322) for axial drilling in mitre cuts, angled drilling and for larger drilling diameters with Forstner drills.
Powerful: Similar to the Bridge City CenterScribe (No. 703969), the drilling jig has a unique dual cable adjustment system for finding the exact centre of a cylindrical or rectangular workpiece. There is also a scale to adjust off-centre bores up to 60 mm. The specially hardened drill bushes (61–63 HRC) enable fast drilling results with the highest accuracy and smallest tolerances (0.1 mm).
Compact: For fixing the workpiece, the DJ-3 drilling jig can simply be clamped with the front clamp. Ideal for precise drilling with a hand drill. Perfect also for mobile use, for example with large or pre-assembled workpieces. The scope of delivery includes a two-part longitudinal fence made of stainless steel with two folding fences for successive drilling, a retractable hex key and a kit with 28 hardened drill bushes.

Bridge City Tool Works
Bridge City Tool Works was founded in the USA 1983 by John Economaki. Driven by perfection, the tool designer has managed to win over numerous tool enthusiasts all around the world for his perfect pieces. The appeal of the exceptional design of the tools lies in their futuristic presentation that at the same time strictly follows the credo »form follows function«.
In 2018, after 35 years of day-to-day operations, John Economaki felt it was time to take a step back and focus his attention on what he enjoys doing most, designing tools. In order to do so, Harvey - a company that had a licensed production for Bridge City Tools since 2013 - acquired Bridge City Tool Works. Harvey's commitment is to continue the legacy of Bridge City Tool Works built by John, who will still be the master designer for Bridge City and will oversee quality control.
