Description
A robust, double-stitched workboot with steel toecap and anti-perforation protection (class S3 comparable* protection) for use on building sites or in workshops. The boots are made from 4 mm thick, greased Russia leather, which is almost fully waterproof. A double-riveted hook/eyelet lace system allows the boots to be easily stretched while providing a close fit.
* The boot is not certified according to DIN.
- Manufactured on asymmetrical lasts for a perfect fit
- Leather uppers allow fast removal of even deep scratches by simply napping the flesh side
- Vegetable tanned insole for optimal comfort (suitable for allergy sufferers)
- Profiled outsole with a high percentage of Indian rubber (similar to a climbing shoe) for strong grip
- Following tradition, the shoes are unlined except for the heel, as this best regulates moisture inside the shoe
- Lacing in the middle with 100 % cotton shoelaces

Double-Stitched Style
In shoe-making, the word »style« describes the join between the top and the bottom of the shoe. »Double-stitched« is the most robust style, traditionally used for climbing boots. In this technique, after finishing the first stitching, the upper shoe leather is curled up and sewn to the midsole. Turning the leather provides stronger protection against moisture. Double-stitching makes shoes particularly robust.
