Herdim® Wheel Dressers for Scroll Gouges
Sharpening of a set of scroll gouges is being made easy with use of Herdim wheel dressers.
The wheel dresser creates in a grinding wheel (either horizontal like Shinko or vertical like Tormek) a radius groove, in which the sharpening of a radius scroll gouge is incomparably easier and more precise than on a regular flat surface. Works best with waterstones for Shinko grinder no. 716020. The dresser is made of fine-graded spinell (corundum), which ensures a long shape durability. With six different radiuses, grooves for the entire Herdim scroll gouges set can be formed.
