Description

Japanese kitchen knives by Miki Hamono, a small blacksmithing workshop that has hand-crafted beautiful cutting tools for over 70 years. Miki Hamono still uses the techniques of the Matsue clan, which has been known for its outstanding samurai swords for over 400 years. The cutting layer is made of tough and hard blue paper steel; this highly pure carbon steel guarantees exceptional sharpness and durability. Rustproof steel is used for the outer layers to facilitate maintenance. The octagonal walnut handle is completed with a black laminated wood ferrule. Double bevel, hardness 62 HRC.
