Minimal cutting forces, fine kerfs and a precise cutting course make these saws the tools of choice for demanding wood joints. The lightweight kiri wood handles bear discreetly engraved symbols indicating the cutting direction. For over three generations, the »Mitsukawa« master smithy has been perfecting traditional craftsmanship to make these special saws:
- Blades made of SK-4 steel (61 HRC) for a long service life; we recommend protecting the blade from corrosion with camellia oil after use
- Each saw is inspected and hand-engraved by the master smith
- Allows resharpening by hand
