Hunting places particularly high demands on boots. Especially on cold days and frosty nights on a raised hide or drive hunt, it is important that the feet stay warm. The Bertl hunting boot is fully lined with genuine lambskin right down to the toes, and thus provides the necessary protection against the cold. Naturally grown lambskin has a special property: it is temperature-balancing. The natural air cushion that encloses the fine hairs allows air to circulate optimally, thus ensuring a pleasant and evenly warm foot climate and preventing sweating. A removable aluminium insole additionally insulates the sole area. This high-quality hunting boot successfully combines hard-wearing Russia leather and sturdy wool felt. Russia leather is a firm, very dense yet supple leather made from particularly strong, purely vegetable tanned, cow or calf hides. It is characterised by its robustness, durability and dependability. Only a few tanneries are able to produce this high-quality leather. Russia leather has a high fat content, which makes the leather resistant to spray water. Regular greasing maintains this effect. The boots are made in Germany according to a traditional, genuine double-stitched design. This particularly durable way in which the sole is created, is only carried out by a few specialists nowadays. A long side zip with inner cover allows the boot to be put on and taken off comfortably. The leather strap at the shaft end allows for individual width adjustment and a good fit. The non-slip rubber treaded sole ensures a secure grip and a firm footing even in snow and ice. Style and tradition are skilfully combined in this masterfully crafted hunting boot, making it a reliable companion for many years to come. The boot can be resoled by a specialist several times.
