For extra-large and strong joints. Whether for square timber in timber construction or for large-format cross-sections in furniture construction, e.g. table frames, the XL version provides more stability and double the holding force.
The two drill bushes that position the XL stepped drill at the perfect angle to the workpiece are made of hardened steel. When using the drill bushes in pairs, the drill hole spacing is 38 mm. The two drill bushes can also be used separately by pulling the jig apart. Adjustable stoppers on the underside (detents at 38 mm and 89 mm) make it easier to position the jig. The stoppers can also be removed completely. The GripMaxx™ material on the underside of the jig ensures that it does not slip during drilling.
