Description
Straight anvil insert for forging attachments such as knife tangs. The lower part of the riveting hammer enables very precise work. Depending on the shape of the riveting hammer surface, different workpiece shapes can be achieved. The lower part of the hammer is inserted into the anvil’s square hardy hole (25 x 25 mm). With an older, worn anvil, the outer edges are usually no longer sharp-edged; using the riveting hammer you can get exactly flat surfaces again for precise work. Ground face: 50 x 50 mm.

Krenzer Hammer is an historic tool factory in the valley of the Ennepe, a river in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany). It was founded in Gevelsberg in 1878 by Friedrich Wilhelm Krenzer. The last open-die forge still in production in this region produces special tools for various professions. The production facilities at which work is done today are almost 100 years old and still in operation.
