The belt grinder that can also be used for polishing
The combination of belt and disc grinder offers a wide range of applications, from grinding small surfaces, longitudinal and end-grain edges, mitres, curves and contours, to grinding chamfers and deburring metal parts. The extendable drive shaft allows a mandrel (No. 729777) to be attached and fitted with e.g. polishing wheels. This extends the machine’s range of application. The belt sanding unit can be continuously adjusted without tools from a horizontal to a vertical position. The sanding table is mounted on the sanding disc or sanding belt. A quick clamping device ensures quick and effortless changing of the sanding belt, while the sanding belt correction device ensures precise alignment. This belt and disc sander was developed for sanding wood materials or plastics that are processed similarly. Grinding disc Ø 150 mm, sanding belt 100 x 914 mm.
