Features of the Pfeil carving knives
Blade quality
The blades of Pfeil carving knives are made from high-quality tool steel, which is highly resistant to rust. The Pfeil range also includes blades made of HSS steel which have a long service life, e.g. for use in hard woods such as robinia or oak. The blades are ground on precision grinding machines and some models are further ground by hand.
Handle design
The handles are ergonomically designed and fit comfortably in the hand, which improves control and precision when carving.
Versatility
With a variety of blade shapes and sizes, Pfeil carving knives cover a wide range of carving tasks.
Carving knives:
From a technical point of view, a carving knife has a shape similar to a conventional knife. Common shapes are carving knives or carving knives for figurative work. The blade length is between 10 and 80 mm.
