The Sorby Steb Chuck Driver can be easily placed and clamped on your current chuck. The need for time-consuming modifications is gone. Fits chucks Talon No. 702159/60 and Stronghold No. 702158, SuperNOVA2 No. 720670/71 and 720753.
Robert Sorby™Drives/Stebcentre
The sprung stainless steel tip and sharp teeth that bite into the wood will guarantee optimal hold. This works even on lathes where the axles (spindle stock to tailstock) are not 100 % aligned. Safe working is guaranteed. The geometry of the teeth also makes this exceptionally good for tensioning unusual shapes. To do this, the piece is tensioned between the Sorby revolving stebcentre and a Sorby drive.
