Description
The Kuri Hocho Santoku and the Tokico sharpener make for a powerful combination - especially suited for Japanese knife novices:
- Saku Hocho, Santoku, all-purpose knife (No. 719720): the sharp cutting edge made of carbon steel is flanked by two layers of stainless steel, which makes it easier to care for; the oval handle is made of chestnut wood and a black ferrule; not rustproof, hardness 60 HRC
- Tokico (No. 705373): a simply to use knife sharpener which ensure enduring sharpness; moisten the blade and slide it three to five times in both directions through the slit of the sharpener to restore the blade; the Tokico sharpener is suited for single- and double-bevel knives; only damaged or worn out blades should not be sharpened with this sharpening system
