The »Norfolk Lady« ladies' hunting blazer is inspired by classic Norfolk jackets. Originally, the Norfolk jacket was a casual, single-breasted jacket made of tweed with box pleats on the back and front, developed for hunting and shooting in England in the mid-19th century. Though the origin is uncertain, it is thought that the jacket shape was named either after Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester (1754-1842), known as Coke of Norfolk, or after the county of Norfolk.
The »Norfolk Lady« hunting blazer is made of high-quality, supple goat suede. For a striking look and increased durability, the leather has been treated with a light coat of wax. Leather darkens over time and develops its own patina full of character caused by light, sun and contact with natural materials. The hunting blazer is characterised by its timeless elegance, lovingly designed details and its outstanding workmanship. The lightly padded shooting patch, the colour-contrasting sleeve patches, the adjustable strap on the back, the two action pleats in the shoulder area and the box pleat in the back skilfully emphasise the hunting attitude of the blazer. The two bellows pockets offer enough space for cartridges and everyday essentials. The blazer is elaborately half-lined with a checked cotton flannel lining. The slightly fitted cut with adjustable strap on the back creates a feminine silhouette.
