Developed with the utmost precision and craftsmanship, this jacket combines the timeless elegance of high-quality German loden with the unparalleled softness and durability of the finest Italian lamb Nappa leather. Handcrafted of ultra-light, supple Italian lamb leather and lightweight alpaca loden by renowned fabric mill Gebr. Mehler in Tirschenreuth, this quilted hunting jacket by Heinz Bauer Manufakt sets new standards. The use of alpaca wool gives the traditional virgin wool loden an unparalleled refinement, making the jacket warmer, more durable, and more breathable. Thanks to its thermal properties, alpaca fibre ensures an optimal body climate in any season and hardly absorbs any odours.
The luxurious Italian lamb Nappa leather impresses with its fine fibre structure and its incomparably soft feel, which is the result of a special tanning process. Each seam is placed with millimetre precision, and the attached two-way pockets offer ample storage for all your everyday essentials. Two zippered inner pockets, plus two patch pockets on the sleeve and chest, as well as a zippered pocket in the chest area, complete the well-thought-out design.
The semi-automatic YKK zips not only guarantee the highest quality, but also silent handling. A practical cartridge pocket on the left sleeve allows quick reloading. Leather piping on the edges provides additional protection against wear, while integrated cuffs at the sleeve ends act as windbreakers and protect against the elements.
A concealed hood in the collar pocket and genuine buffalo horn buttons, skilfully fastened with sturdy leather straps, are evidence of the attention to detail. Inside, synthetic high-performance down ensures optimal insulation, while high-quality loden and an insulating lining in the sleeves provide additional comfort.
