The handmade Frost River Geologist Bushcraft Pack is a classic backpack made of traditional materials. Inspired by the legendary backpacks of geologist James Byron Hustad, who in the last century undertook adventurous expeditions through wild Minnesota with canoes and float planes to search for iron ore for US Steel. This backpack pays homage to his legendary »backpack« and is therefore called the »Geologist Bushcraft«.
The Geologist Bushcraft Pack is made of robust 18 oz waxed canvas and is carefully handcrafted. It is equipped with high-quality leather straps that give it a rustic and authentic touch. The two outer patch pockets allow easy access to small items, while inside a zipped pocket provides space for valuable items such as keys and hunting license.
The Geologist Bushcraft Pack closes securely with a nylon diamond-braid drawstring and a robust flap over the main compartment. The wide shoulder straps are made of high-quality bridle leather and provide a high level of carrying comfort, even on longer hunting trips. For added convenience, the backpack has a grab handle made of sturdy cotton webbing that allows you to carry it comfortably in your hand. The solid brass fittings not only give the backpack a distinctive look, but also ensure durability and stability.
