Description
Keeping dogs cool on hot days is essential to protect their health. Dogs cannot sweat effectively to regulate their body temperature and are therefore prone to overheating. Without sufficient cooling, a dog can quickly overheat, which can lead to heatstroke - a potentially life-threatening situation. Symptoms of heatstroke include heavy panting, lethargy, vomiting, and even unconsciousness. A cooling vest helps lower the dog's body temperature and avoid these dangerous conditions by providing comfortable and long-lasting cooling.
With the »Iceland« cooling vest, you can ensure that your four-legged friend stays comfortably cool. The vest is simply moistened from the inside and pulled over the dog, where it is secured with a practical hook-and-loop fastener. The technical material keeps the moisture in and cool for hours, thereby comfortably reducing the dog's body temperature. The vest consists of three layers with an integrated superabsorber that stores a large amount of water. This superabsorber can absorb many times its own volume of water and store it as a cooling hydrogel. The neoprene insert on the chest allows full freedom of movement. Through the evaporative cooling of the hydrogel, immediate and long-lasting cooling is achieved. Due to the shortened fit, the dog cooling vest ensures that vital organs such as the kidneys are protected from getting too cold.
Due to the very comfortable cut and the very lightweight materials, the dog is not restricted in its freedom of movement when wearing the cooling vest.
Cooling products are generally recommended for all dog sizes and fur types to prevent overheating and heatstroke in the summer. For an even more intensive cooling function, the cooling vest can be supplemented with a cooling scarf.
Due to the additional weight caused by the water storage, the cooling vest must always be removed before swimming.
