The classic dog whistle – with single note plus triller.
Dog whistles have always been used, especially by hunters to train their hunting dogs.: the triller is a stop signal, whereupon the dog lies down, and the double note is a come signal. This has been adopted by many other dog owners in recent years. A whistle enables easy contact with your dog even over long distances and in distracting environmental conditions (e.g. strong winds). The respective signal sounds loudly and clearly and is not, as often with verbal commands, effected by the dog handler's emotional state (anger, fear, rage).
The Acme Double Tone Dog Whistle is made of plastic, frequency standardised and embossed with a number. The embossed number on each whistle stands for a certain frequency or tone. This means you can even reorder a whistle with this tone many years later, ensuring that your dog does not have to get used to a different tone. The whistle signals are always clear, even the triller cannot be overblown. The mouthpieces of these dog whistles are sufficiently long and provided with a small ridge so that they can be held comfortably in the mouth. This double tone whistle is available in different sizes (No. 640 = 9 cm, No. 641 = 6 cm) and different frequencies.
