The open net structure of the Abranet Abrasive Mesh allows the sanding dust to be thoroughly extracted right from where it is created. This not only extends the lifespan of the abrasive – Abranet Abrasive Mesh is 2-6 times more durable than conventional abrasives – but makes sanding much more efficient. No dust balls, no clogging – the surface quality of your workpieces will increase, because only the sharp abrasive crystals work on the surface and not the sanding dust you have just removed.
Thanks to the excellent extraction qualities of the Abranet abrasives, hazardous dusts dont stand a chance - your health will thank you!
We recommend the use of a protective interface (No. 704149K). The protective interface pad is sandwiched between the sanding pad and the abrasive mesh and protects the sanding pad from mechanical abrasion and frictional heat. Depending on the application, the interface pad lasts for about 10 to 20 abrasive mesh sheets.
