Description
Routing and sawing jig for making splines
A practical device for making spline grooves using a router table or circular bench saw. Whether it's picture frames, drawers, or furniture bodies, mitres with splines can be stabilised or decorated with the milling and cutting guide. The jig is supplied with four fences to position workpieces with repeat accuracy.
Application: Just set the stops to the required position of a spline, drop your workpiece in the jig and slide the jig over the routing or cutting tool to make the cut. Then glue in the splines.
