The conditioner can be used either to reinforce the existing wax coating or after prolonged use to renew the waterproofing. It is advisable to warm the conditioner slightly before use, for example by placing it near a heater or by using a hair dryer. This makes application easier and the wax can better penetrate the fabric. After treatment, it is also advisable to warm the treated fabric slightly to allow the wax to penetrate more deeply.
It is recommended to clean the bag or backpack with Frost River Canvas Cleaner beforehand to ensure that no dirt gets into the fabric.
