Description
Like the Pampeano polo belts, this dog collar comes from Argentina. A family-run leather manufacturer in Buenos Aires has been handcrafting them almost unchanged for generations.
The colouring as well as the shape of the diamond pattern is influenced by the local landscape. The pampas, the sky, the sea and the Andes are all depicted in the item.
Stitching these patterns by hand with waxed cotton threads takes some time. However, there is no intention of turning to purely machine-based production in the future for the sake of quantity. This is the reason why every dog collar is unique. This is also guaranteed by the use of vegetable-tanned, Argentinian cowhide and the buckle made of solid brass.
