Description
The support arm with 12 mm diameter fits all common sharpening guides with 12 mm holder. It is the connection between the machine and sharpening guide. When sharpening without a support, it serves as a hand rest. A knurled nut allows fine adjustment. Depending on the application, the support can be attached vertically or horizontally to, for example, water-cooled grinders, allowing you to sharpen against or with the bevel.
The support arm is assembled from individual stainless steel pieces, resulting in precise 90-degree angles and straight guide rods. (Note: welding or bending the pieces would cause them to warp - material distortion during welding and springback during forming/bending).
