The Women's Mackinaw Wool Barn Coat by Filson combines simple design, high-quality craftsmanship, and iconic materials. The jacket is made of proven 24 oz. Mackinaw wool, specially woven to Filson's high standards. This wool is breathable and temperature-regulating, ensuring consistent warmth without causing overheating. Body heat is retained even when wet, as the wool has a high moisture absorption capacity. The dense weave makes the wool not only windproof but also highly durable. Another practical advantage of this high-quality wool is that it is easy to care for: dry dirt can be easily brushed off without leaving marks.
The two large patch pockets offer practical storage space and emphasise the jacket's functionality. Inside, a soft, brushed cotton lining provides additional comfort and warmth. The cord-lined collar can be buttoned up to protect the neck from wind and cold. The jacket closes with a button placket.
