Description
This pair of mortise gauge heads will convert a Veritas marking gauge into a mortising gauge. It is ideal for effectively marking mortise and tenon joints. Simply slide the cutters onto the rod, adjust them to tenon width and lock their setting using a set screw. The included collar, which has a slightly smaller diameter than the cutters, prevents the gauge from tilting when marking large offsets. Fits No. 707178 and 703656.
