Description
The benefits of using cast iron for the manufacture of machine tables are well known, especially where vibration damping and stability are paramount. The quality of the surface grinding on this top is superb, offering little resistance when passing stock across the table during use. The top is: 812 x 600 x 40 mm.
There are many complex routing operations that can only be carried out using a table set-up. The table tops are designed to accept a router elevator and a table insert plate and when fitted with this unit you will have an excellent versatile set-up. The tops feature two grooves (19 x 9.5 mm / 8.9 x 6.4 mm) to accept the supplied mitre fence attachment.
The aluminium fence is supplied with a transparent dust port for efficient extraction. To attach safety devices and accessories, the router table provides a T-Track at both the top and front of the fence. Adjustable scales are provided for attachment at the table and the fence is attached to these and locks into place at the required position. An adjustable transparent safety guard is included. A scale is also provided for the top of the fence with the zero position at the centre. Adjustable in-feed and out-feed fences attach to either side of the aluminium section and the central aperture can be opened and closed according to the diameter of the cutter in use.
The leg stand is of sturdy construction with a foot operated retractable castor for excellent mobility around the workshop. Two neat racks are provided for keeping router cutters and a provision is made for storage of the supplied mitre fence assembly. Fence measures 904 x 90 mm, height top edge approximately 930 mm, exhaust nozzle Ø 63/56 mm.
