ELASTIC CLAMPING
All-steel clamps: Due to the elastic fixed and sliding clamps, vibrations have a significantly lower influence on the clamping force than with comparable malleable iron or ductile iron clamps with a rigid clamping force, which increases the clamping safety.
This type of clamping is suitable for
- Fixing wooden components that are to be processed, e.g. working with a router, circular saw, rasp...
- Fixing metal components that are to be processed, e.g. welding, cutting, filing...
- Clamping on machine parts, e.g. stops on circular table saws, templates for thicknessing machines
- Gluing or clamping of wooden parts that are under tension, e.g. gluing on round edges, bending wood, clamping boat frames
RIGID CLAMPING
Malleable iron or ductile iron clamps: High clamping forces can be achieved with rigid clamping.
This type of clamping is suitable for
- Gluing of board surfaces such as table tops, shelves...
- Gluing of components that are not under tension during gluing, e.g. gluing on straight edges, doubling...
