Soft wax protects lightly used wood surfaces and provides a velvety, matt finish. It enhances the natural grain, is easy to apply and is ideal for furniture, wooden objects, decorative surfaces and restoration work.
Beeswax is often combined with plant-based oils. This blend unites the soft, matt appearance of wax with the depth and enrichment provided by oils, resulting in wood that appears well nourished and protected.
Paraffin wax is now found primarily in blends with other waxes or oils, where it improves workability and increases the hardness of the wax film. On its own, however, it is rarely applied as a furniture finish.
