For routing and drilling

Stepped router bit for drilling and routing. Diameter a = 12.7 mm, diameter b = 6.35 mm. Rounding R 1.6 mm at the transitions for tear-free and visually appealing holes and slots.
Counterbored holes:
Use it in the drill press and obtain perfectly counterbored holes e.g. for countersinking mounting screws for making clamping devices or sleds as well as for general furniture making. Ideal in combination with MICROJIG® Zeroplay Mitre Bars (Nos. 725027, 725028).
Counterbored slots:
Use it on the router table or router and make retaining and stabilising strips as an alternative to laborious sliding dovetails. Wood screws screwed through stepped slots stabilise e.g. solid wood panels and prevent warping. Countersunk screw heads due to stepped hole shape.
