The diamond ground teeth are exceptionally sharp; the band saw blade thus produces best cutting results in both soft and hard wood. The precise grinding increases the durability of the teeth and thus the service life by at least 30 % compared to standard band saw blades. The weld seam is tempered for more flexibility (heat treatment for stress relief). This protects the seam from becoming brittle and showing material fatigue.
