Description
Hay rakes with a curved head are particularly easy to pull - almost without pulling and snagging. The unique curved shape, which is only produced by Lofer nowadays, prevents the outer prongs from being used simultaneously. This tried and tested construction method has proven itself in agriculture over centuries. The wooden prongs also make the rake run smoothly. Handle length 1.80 m. Made in Austria.
Lofer® Rakes
Rake production in Austria is deeply rooted in the regional traditions of agriculture. The secret lies in the careful selection of wood felled exclusively in winter in local forests. After a long, gentle drying process, the wood is graded with no knots for rake heads, prongs and handles and processed both mechanically and by hand according to traditional methods.
Rake handles made of limewood
Limewood is extremely supple in the hand, exceptionally light, elastic and does not warp. The tapered end of the handle increases stability and optimises handling during use.
Nylon prongs
The patented rake prongs made of high-quality nylon are particularly impact-resistant and permanently elastic; stress whitening is impossible. If the prongs overstretch, they return to their original position automatically.
